Very beautiful building and rooms with unique decoration. The pool area is great too...

I recently stayed at a fantastic mountain village hotel called Arathena. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, allowing us to store our bags after checking out and even use the swimming pool. The building had a charming character design, and the breakfast area was absolutely wonderful, with perfect coffee. The outside public areas, including the pool, were great for relaxing, and the atmosphere was very calming. The view from our superior room terrace was breathtaking, although I noticed that the standard rooms had less impressive views. The luxurious and clean bathroom added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. The whole setting felt authentic and the staff made sure we felt welcome.

The hotel has a trattoria attached to it which is where you eat if you have half board. This is easily the best place to eat in the town so well worth doing half board. Hotel is not on the coast but set among beautiful mountains. Free shuttle to beach takes 10 mins

Buy your beers from the local shop as it they are €6 each in the hotel! €0.70 in the mini supermarket down the road. But some then put in the mini fridge in your room.

A small hotel with very friendly staff. Terrific views in a lovely village. The pool was excellent as were the rooms. The food was very good, Victor and Christina were a delight! We planned visits around the island with the help of the courteous staff, local beaches were very good, if a little crowded owing to August being the Itatians' annual holiday. The rest of the island was not crowded and we enjoyed looking at the many archeological sites.

The hotel's quiet location and beautiful property with stunning views. Excellent pool and varied breakfast with friendly staff always at your service. Short drive to Porto Cervo and nearby beaches.

The decoration and allround design are great. The breakfast is fabulous! The hotel is ideally nestled in the village of San Pantaleon with great views overlooking a five stars surrounding landscape.

No wi-fi avalaible (it must be the remoted area?). There is one PC at the reception with overpriced internet facilities. You should expect a free internet access for an hotel of this class.

The double room is airy and has a mini-fridge-bar, air conditioner, and an individual safe. The stuff is lovely friendly, efficient.

Beautiful mountain views, excellent food, and a peaceful retreat in a traditional area. The pool and breakfast were great. Only drawback was the need for a car to explore the beaches and surrounding areas. highly recommend staying at this hotel.
