Also, we had dinner at the hotel and received great food at a very reasonable prices.
Hotels cost pretty much the same here as an equivalent hotel in a large US city.
Cabs are available at the hotel and you're 10-15 minutes from centro or downtown.
Rooms were clean but our room the bathtub had a crack that I'm sure was leaking (we were on ground floor) and needing replacement.
The actual rooms were just fine, but the bed was hard, and the pillows were not the greatest.
The suite had a king bed and a hide a bed in the couch.
No heavenly bed here, but I slept just fine.
We asked the staff if it was possible to get a roll away bed and without even thinking about it they had it on the way.
There is a bar (bar la rosa) and restaurant that separates the Fiesta Americana and the Araiza and is fantastic.
With your stay you get free breakfast which is continental, but includes some traditional Mexican meals, there's plenty to choose from.
Coffee shop/restaurant is convenient to begin the day and the hotel is clean.
Each time we satyed here we received to free meal tickets for the breakfast buffet, which looks more like a brunch buffet.

The front desk staff were very helpfull, not all were bi-lingual though.
The high speed wireless Interent worked very well, though the front desk staff knew little about it.
There are 4 floors with outside corridors, facing the interior pool courtyard, served by 2 elevators from the lobby.
Too cold to use the pool, but have used in warmer times.
There was constant maintenance going on around the hotel, from keeping the marble like floors clean to wiping down the pool furniture each morning, even though it was a little too cool to use.
Wireless internet is available for free but as noted on another review worked intermittently.
The only problem I experienced during my stay was that the wireless internet did not work at all.
Rooms were clean, the breakfast buffet was really good.
As always staff is very friendly, rooms are clean.
Rooms clean and comfortable, received great food at a very reasonable prices.
The room was well equipped, very clean and comfortable.
