Aqua Hotel & Lounge Miami Beach - 迈阿密海滩

Location, location, location - it is close to the South Beach action and the Lincoln shops/restaurants.

For the money and location (beach literally 1/2 block away close to everything!

The good things about Aqua – the location is perfect for the beach clubs and restaurants.

I stayed here five days and didn't have a car and didn't have to take a taxi at all (except to/from the airport).

He was very knowledgeable about the area and how to get around the city itself(via bus or taxi).

You get a concrete floor, a bed, a tv, and bathroom in a standard room.

The first time was amazing, we got a great deal through Booked.net and the second floor room had a nice bathroom, simple but quality furnishings and a very comfortable bed.

In our room, bed was small not even queen size,bathroom doors cannot be closed, there was a small hole in bed sheek and bed skirt and floor was dirty.

Rooms cleaned everyday, plenty of hot water and a nice firm bed.

My in-laws were shown into a room where one of the bed lights did not work, the clock had stopped working, and there was no hot water.

There's also a good bar which is also where a wholesome breakfast is servedin the mornings.

In fact the locations was just perfect: the hotel is 3min walk from Ocean Ave and from restaurants, clubs, the beach and shops.

The lounge area, where the continental breakfast is served each morning, is so sleek that it's a shame they don't serve drinks.

However, they serve continental breakfast in the lobby, complimentary too.

Near ocean drive and fantastic restaurants all within walking distance.

The staff at the front desk is great and the rooms are fine.

I asked the front desk for one and it didn't work, and the staff wasn't really helpful or concerned about it.

In addition to the great location (basically in the shadow of the Ritz Carlton), the service was great from the friendly and informative front desk to the housekeeping folks (one cleaning person even gave us directions for getting to Little Havana).

Only thing is I wish there was a pool instead of a jacuzzi.

They don't have a pool, but they do have a great heated jacuzzi.

I'd rather jump into a 70° pool than a 100°+ jacuzzi when its over 90° outside!

They have a PC but they don't have one of the many cheap and available computer software programs that almost all hotels have to keep track of everything.

The staff is great, clean rooms to enjoy a good night sleep and the breakfast in the morning is very nice.

The hotel was very clean and the room was just what we expected out of an Art Deco District where the buildings are 80 plus years old or more.

There really are no "grounds" to this hotel, although the few cute fountains, lounge chairs, small hot tub etc I've always found to be clean and well kept.
