During my stay at City Residence Strasbourg Centre, I was impressed with the convenient location, just a short 10-minute walk from the old town. The hotel also offers its own garage, which was a great advantage for me as I had a rental car. The kitchenette in the room was well equipped, providing everything I needed for preparing meals. I particularly liked the cabinet below the sink in the bathroom, as it gave me a convenient place to store my belongings.

There was a lot of negative experience while staying at the hotel. 1) while booking, there was suggested option to choose a double or twin room, I chose twin, than wrote to the reception for the approval that the twin will be ok, the receptionist Jennifer said it was ok. But when arriving at the hotel me and my collegue realised that we have double and no option to have another room. The administrator said that we will have twin for the next two nights, however it was not easy to get it - next morning we spoke to another receptionist who said that no twin-rooms are available. Hopefully, in the evening everything was ok but the impression was negative. 2) for three days I had no possibility to use an iron, which was at the hotel but every time I needed it nobody could tell me when it will be in place, because somebody has borrowed it. 3) towels in the bath rooms haven't been changed.
