Apollo Hotel Saint Helier - St Helier Je

The location was very good for walkinh into town and the hotel was very well situated for easy access to facilities in.

The Apollo Hotel is in an excellent location close to centre of St.

Its fair to say that the location is superb for those who want to see Jersey as its so close to the shopping in St Helier But the standard of the rooms left a bit to be desired.

Don't get the taxi from the airport to the hotel though.

We booked (thru the internet) Tantivy Coach Tours, for our airport transfers and the driver was waiting for us on our arrival in Jersey and was exactly on time for our return journey.

The bedroom was out dated, paint flaking from windows, plug in bath didn't hold water, kettle had yellowed with age, cracked tiles in bathroom.

Room was a superior double, spacious with a giant 4 poster bed, which was made-up daily with fresh linen and towels.

The bed linen and towels were very worn and the beds narrow and uncomfortable.

We had a 4poster room, which was just not big enough, hardly room for my husband to get into bed, due to the lack of space and excess furniture in the room.

Rooms are average we booked a superier with a four poster bed over looking pool, other rooms looked smaller and less well furnished.

The bar area is nice and relaxing with a resident singer on hand to entertain and breakfast is good value for money as you can help yourself to an excellent variety on offer.

The breakfast menu in the restaurant had more choice however, and polite waiting staff.

I would also like to mention that the breakfast was very nice but there is a very strong fishy small when you walk into the restaurant - probably because they serve kippers although I haven't noticed it in any other hotels.

Breakfast was excellent, good choice from cooked breakfast to continental breakfast options, restaurant very clean and staff efficient.

I can't comment on the restaurant other than to say that the (inclusive) breakfast was fine with plenty of choice for those who favour cooked or continental style alike.

Staff were very helpful except for one receptionist.

Staff at reception were cheerful and efficient.

The service was good, the staff pleasant and obliging.

All the staff we dealt with were pleasant, and the room service meal was very hot when it arrived and I feel was reasonable value for money (£7.

All the facilities were great including the pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym.

The indoor facilities (pool, sauna, gym etc) although we didnt use them seeemed okay.

Helier with free car parking, a bonus if you decide to rent a car and explore this beautiful island by your own steam.

The rooms are very clean and tidy, food is good.

Our bedroom was clean and tidy, it overlooked the outdoor pool was considered executive as it had a fridge.

The room was on the small side, but it was clean and comfortable.

Very clean rooms and excellent breakfast.

The rooms are comfy, the indoor pool again is very clean a bit small.
