Near the airport, beautiful hotel and house keepers are very friendly. Moreover the rooms are clean and the indoor pool/Jacuzzi is lovely. The Spa treatments are great.

A recent building with a modern design in the newly developed part of Vila Seca. Competently run hotel with good indoor and outdoor pools. About 10 minutes by car either to the beach at La Pineda or to PortAventura. Within walking distance of supermarkets and the center of Vila Seca (market, cafes, bakeries, bars). Vila Seca itself is nothing to write home about, but it is a good base from which to explore the Costa Daurada. Only gripe would be that the kitchen (sink, fridge and two electric rings) is very small and equipped with the strict minimum: one glass, bowl, plate, knife, fork, etc., per person. You will need to bring, beg, steal or borrow a corkscrew, bottle opener, kitchen knife, ...
