The apartment and all the furniture is totally new. The staff was very kind and helpful. She had to wait for a long time for us to pick up, us to the apartment. When we encountered a problem with the cooker, their technician came in minutes and fixed it. There is a supermarket close by.

Location - something away from the tourist hotspots, but within easy reach of interesting places. The bus station is a few minutes walk away and you can easily get to Puerto de la Cruz (30 mins) and Santa Cruz (1 hour) using the bus service. The apartment itself served its purpose - which was a base from which to head out to other places of interest. It was comfortable enough, but don't expect luxury.

No corkscrew - though there is one now in 6a as we left ours there. Noise from other apartment users - I think there was a large group of people staying in several apartments along our floor and there were times when they had their doors open, they were in and out of each others apartments and chattering loudly in the corridor. Noisy doorbells. Beds not particularly comfy.
