Other than the Broadmoor, the Antlers Hilton is the highest price hotel in Colo Springs.
I am not sure that we will return for a future stay, even though this hotel holds sentimental value to us.
The only gripe was the cost of the internet in the business centre - $7 dollars for a few minutes to check in for our flight back home - other hotels provide this for free or for a small charge.
It was a good location for being able to walk to the restaurants and stores of Tejon Street, and about 7 or 8 blocks from the college.
We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the accommodations were and the location.
First, the location cannot be beat - the hotel is in a thriving downtown with easy access to restaurants and sights.
We used the bus and walking to get around town, and the only way to the airport is via a taxi or car hire.
Of interest, prior to our evening out, we were warned twice about safety downtown (at an area spa and as we shopped) yet the police were out on foot patrol, very visible and friendly so I am not sure what was going on.
2 rooms on the same floor was to pay $10 extra to get a "deluxe room" for the king bed.
On the positive side, the location, rooms with terrific views (I always book a corner room with wrap around windows) and beds with comfortable linens can't be beat.

Yes the rooms and the bathrooms are not huge but we found our room very comfortable.
They called the cabs we needed, offered advice for nightlife and provided excellent referrals for dining - delicious and reasonable breakfast at the Olive Branch restaurant just two blocks away.
The lounge area, hotel bar and restaurant are also good.
The Phanton Canyon (accross the street from the hotel) is a great bar/restaurant/lounge.
There are some really great breakfast restaurants walking distance from the hotel.
The hotel restaurant also serves breakfast, and it was what I would expect in a hotel named "Antlers" - dark wood and green leather and very comfortable.
Staff extremely courteous - valet service very helpful and entertaining.
The convention area was in excellent condition-- and the service staff served 430 people a plated dinner in about 10 minutes flat!
The food was good in the bar area with efficient service and chatty staff!
The conference I attended went perfect, excellent food, great service and an attentive and concerned staff.
The whole hotel is nice, including the lobby, gym, and pool area.
The pool fitness area are great - one can actually get a decent workout done and pC use in the business centers of other rate-comparable hotels is often free.

The bathroom was spotless, clean and roomy and had all the necessary comforts.
The people that clean the rooms were excellent.
The view from the room was fantastic, the hotel was clean and comfortable, the front desk agreed that that was a good idea.
Furthermore clean room and excellent food.
The bathrooms are small -- and were not very clean.
