As my favourite hotel was full, I chose the Rubens (it's worth noting that if you book flights and your hotel through Alitalia, you get seriously good value, often paying 2 star prices for 4 star accomodation).
The wine in the hotel bar is good value and they provide you with tasty snacks if you are a bit on the peckish side.
There are also lots of pizzerias surrounding the hotel offering great food at great prices with friendly staff in cosy surroundings.
A really nice hotel, price was reasonable and i liked the decoration of the rooms was very comfortable that was small.

This hotel is ideal for a holiday in Milan, the location is excellent (near Gambara metro) for getting to the cathedral and the historric center or the san siro stadium and the shopping streets are nearby too.

We took the bus from airport to train station, then took a taxi to the hotel.
We found it very easy to get a bus from Orio al Serio airport (cost 14 euros for return) and using the metro ( cost 3 euros for 24 hour ticket).

There is a bar and the hotel restaurant also serves an evening meal if you desired it.
The breakfast from the restaurant in the hotel was great and the staff were all were pleasant.

We found the reception staff on the whole to be helpful, however we managed to overload the electrics in our room and the concierge who came up to sort it was not the friendliest.
The hotel has a small gym which is ok but is very small and doesn't have any free weights.
