Billed as the first of the next-generation Scandic hotels, it's a luxury hotel at a budget price.

The Anglais is owned by the Swedish buget hotel chain Scandic and is as such very good in price.

The hotel also has a couple bars that fill up, the price is very nice and free internet access in the lobby.

There are definitely more elaborate hotels in the area, but when you need two rooms (like we did), it was a decent stay for the price.

The location is super - located right in the heart of Stureplan and the decor is very high end.

Advantages: good location and nice hotel in the heart of.

Views are great and the location of the hotel is excellent - is in a walking distance to the old town.

Trolleys carrying dishes and other stuff rolled past the back wall in an underground passageway through the night each hour.

One bed, one TV and a small shower and toilet.

早餐非常好,新鲜的水果,自己榨的桔汁,补充丰富的蛋白质.

酒吧夜景不错 – 楼下有个小而干净的健身房(正在翻新).

Bed was comfortable, the bar was realy nice and the variety of food available at the breakfast buffet was very good.

The ground floor is one largely open area, housing a long bar area, the lounge, breakfast area and reception.

Location central, hOTEL: Great and very good reception desk staff.

Great Location, very good quality-prive relation and efficient and the reception staff was friendly.

Before i checked out i went to the spa area, nice with hot tubs, swedish sauna and gym.

I was somewhat surprised by this with so many nicer places to hang out than the hotel lobby.

The lobby was full of people on thurs, fri, and sat nights.

Free wireless internet access is also included!

The staff were extremely friendly and my room was very clean.

The bathroom was very clean and had a shower that is very large compared to the Scandic (and Swedish) standards.

My room (on the top floor) was small, functional, clean, but not particularly comfortable.

The rooms at the Scandic Anglais are darker, less inviting, and not as clean as I had expected.

Breakfast/brunch buffet every day from 7am till 2pm has everything you could possibly want from fresh fruit to an omlette made to order, and it is all included with your room.

    I checked out early for sightseeing, the hotel was in a good location very near to shops and front desk clerk stated he had a Mac as well. Additionally the room was nicely designed and breakfast service was superb.

    The relaxation area is nice too, the location of the hotel is great for sightseeing and beds are good. Breakfast is fantastic.

    Great location and very good value for money. Desk staff were competent and upon arrival I was informed that I had been upgraded to a Junior Suite - for the rate I was paying was expected. Breakfast was fine.

    Excellent location, the downstairs bar seemed to be the place to be in the begining of the night as well and the rooms are very spacious. Breakfast is also good.

    In a great part of the great city that is Stockholm, opposite the hotel is the lovely Humlegarden and cabin rooms are good equiped. Breakfast is fantastic.
