beautiful resort, wonderful staff, delightful breakfast

Mistakes in preparation of check out bill which took over 30 minutes to sort out. Breakfast was not so good and restaurant food was too salty. Separate toilet and bathroom was a bit inconvenient. Hotel staff lack training, e.g. brought tea bags to the room held in his hands.

The resort looks exactly like the photos on the internet. It's set in lush jungle surrounds and is very relaxing. The staff are extremely friendly.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel! The location was also great, with easy access to all the temples of Angkor Wat while still being close enough to nearby restaurants and the town centre. The hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the relaxing pool that provided a refreshing escape from the heat. I also appreciated the cleanliness of this hotel, especially the breakfast area where they provided tips on how to avoid small gnats flying over the self-service area.
There was nothing I didn't like.

Great atmosphere. Love that we could have the free breakfast delivered to our room. Staffs were very nice and helpful. The pool was awesome.

The good deal in price, beautiful lobby and garden, rich breakfast.
Restaurant Menu was very poor; the boutique was closed without a reason; the meals ordered in the room weren't taken away swiftly after being finished, but they used to be left by the staff 1 night/1 day outdoor before being set up off. Swimming pool is placed in the middle of the villas area, so that the children screams are very annoying and bothering if you want to rest peacefully in your room. No free shuttle to Siem Reap centre.

Loved the unique swimming pool that winds through the tropical garden, felt like swimming in paradise. The in-house restaurants had great variety, but it's better to eat out and enjoy $1 beer.
The main pool was a bit murky, but who needs it when I had my own private pool in my room!

I liked the staff kindness, the cleanliness and the design of the room, the peaceful atmosphere, the swimming pool, the nature... so relaxing and comfortable!
No pick-up service, too expensive activities, far from the centre of Siem Reap...and when I was leaving they said I took something from the minibar that I didn`t even open...

Very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely ambience - nice architecture with beautiful wood. Pool lovely never crowded. Food was amazing. Our whole group thought the food at the hotel was better than anywhere else we ate in Siem Reap.

My stay at the resort was truly amazing! The suite I booked was absolutely stunning and exceeded all my expectations. The Gala dinner on New Year's Eve was a highlight, with delicious food and a captivating Cambodian dance show. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home.

The friendly staff who provided excellent service, and the unique design of the resort which featured a snake shaped pool that meanders around the villas, so that each villa is facing the pool.
The pillows need replacing, they were hard and flattish.

its beautiful setting and decor and its traditional Cambodian style architecture. The staff were very gracious in their approach to everything. The food was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay . The Khmer people are such wonderful people, hope they never change.
nothing to complain about.

The pool was massive! We swam for hours on end and loved every minute. The staff were so friendly and kind, always making sure we had everything we needed. Plus, the location was perfect - easy access to all the main attractions.
The breakfast was a bit disappointing. There weren't many options and the quality wasn't great.

The location of the hotel is convenient for visiting the nearby temples. Guests can enjoy a variety of delicious dishes at the hotel's restaurant. The staff provides excellent service and the rooms are spacious and well-designed, with comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. In addition, guests can take advantage of the beautiful swimming pools and peaceful garden.
The overall price of the hotel can be quite expensive for some travelers.

Angkor Village Resort & Spa is a great property. Built and designed thoughtfully mostly in wood, the architecture draws from the traditional Khmer tradition yet addresses all the needs of a present day traveller. Each and evry room is a part of a cottage with balcony that faces the garden and the 200 mtr long winding pool which is absolutely unique. The lush green surrounding and the landscaping transorts one to a tranquil setting and is really refreshing. The staffs are polite, well trained and ready to help. The restaurant has a nice setting. Access to city or Angkor is few minutes tuk tuk ride away. I will definitely recommend this hotel to all travellers who are looking at a holiday at Angkor and experience a very relaxed stay at a hotel that is very different from the tall towers at the centre of a busy metropolis.
I didnt find anything of significance that I disliked about this hotel.
