Location was the only plus and updated shower, the staff were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was nice and breakfast was the usual continental fare as was the wine cheese in the afternoon.

The location was ideal and the free bus service was an additional pleasure. Value for expenditure was poor, sunday rate was decent and our room was on the second floor, not by a street, and was quiet. The staff were friendly and the bed was very comfortable. The coffee was good and cereal was adequate.

The location was great and the hot water went out during our stay. The free breakfasts were nothing to write home about and staff were wonderful. The room was clean, the fruit was good and the wine reception was especially nice.

The historic district, within reasonable walking distance to shops and the breakfast was decent and the location was superb. Our stay here at the anchorage inn was absolutely wonderful, the entire staff were very pleasant and the room was clean and the soaps very nice. The only hot thing on the buffet table was gravy and the afternoon wine and cheese were enjoyable.

We loved being in the historic district of Charleston and at the waterfront, within walking distance of just about everything downtown. The location is perfect and the hotel itself is very elegant. Staff is very nice, always good assistance and the rooms are all very classic and neat, the breakfast is lovely.

The owners should invest in new towels, wine and cheese seemed to be adequate.
