I recently stayed at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids for a leisure trip and I couldn't recommend this hotel more. This hotel perfectly combines historic charm with modern amenities. The facilities were impressive, with a cool pool and outdoor rooftop tennis and basketball courts. The view from my river view room was simply amazing, and the remote controlled window shades were a nice touch. The staff was exceptional, with Bryson and Greg providing outstanding service as valet and bell hop respectively. The shoe shine young man was also pleasant and did a great job. The location was convenient, the beds were comfy, and the breakfast ordered was delicious and hot. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the building was clean. my stay at this hotel was fantastic and I highly recommend it.
