Decent price during week-ends (reduced like in most hotels in Brussels) but overpriced during the week (500€+, excluding breakfast) compared with top hotels in other capital cities.
The cost and poor value of eating breakfast in the hotel meant that we took breakfast on the Grand Place, which was very pleasant and a good opportunity to see the city coming alive.
Room service prices are a little on the high side, but due to the proximity of the hotel to all the eateries on the Grand Place, this was never a problem.
In the is price range this the best European hotel city hotel I have stayed at.
Located just behind the Grand Place, Hotel Amigo is set in a very convenient location.
The location is perfect, just next to Grand Place.

The Mercedes limo service to and from the airport is highly recommended - it's only €49 from the hotel to the airport, which is only a few Euros more than what a taxi would cost.
The concierge was very helpful in giving us directions to the places we wanted to visit by foot and by metro.
The bathroom was simple but elegant, the room size was large for a capital city and the bed was very comfortable.
I was confirmed for a room with two beds but got a single king size bed instead.

The hotel restaurant is being renovated at the moment so it is closed but they serve light meals in the bar and a nice breakfast.
The restaurant was excellent for dinner, offering some of the best Italian cuisine in Brussels.
We had a quick breakfast at the Amigo buffet this morning, served in the hotel restaurant.
Despite the above I would still wholeheartedly recommend you choose the Amigo, it's great bar and it's award winning restaurant as an accommodation option, when next visiting Brussels.
The location of the Hotel Amigo couldn't be better--just a block from the Grand Place, a hop skip and jump to great restaurants including the NY Times recommended restaurant Aux Armes de Bruxelles and bars Roy d'Espagne and Group Le Foil.
The location is superb, the hotel staff is very professional and good service - especially the front desk.
