Ametyst Hotel Prague - 布拉格

In terms of location - the marketing material states the hotel is 10 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square.

I really enjoyed this trip to Prague - Hotel staff were friendly, hotel was small but very clean, but I was a little disappointed with the location of the hotel.

We booked this hotel through airmiles, we wasnt disapponted with the hotel at all, just the location.

Quiet location with short walk to underground metro station which is one stop from the main square in city centre.

It is 7 minutes to the Metro and tram but then quickly into the centre.

I was able to swop for another room which had a bigger bed, but there was very little space left to navigate your way around the furniture.

I had a spacious single room, with a most comfortable bed where I slept well at night after all the day time walking, eating and drinking.

Indeed the bed in the first room we had would have been far too small for us to both fit in (BTW - we are both slim).

Toilet/bath was ok, but again, just basic amenities, not as expected from a 4* hotel.

Cheap too (on average we paid for the 2 of us the equivalent of £15 for 2 courses and a beer) The hotel twin room was big enough for 2, clean, warm yet with a window that opened!

We ate our evening meal in a wonderful little Czech restaurant just round the corner, using lunch to explore more central eating places.

Round the corner we found the Hlucna samota, an excellent bar/restaurant, with good food and friendly staff and customers.

Buffet breakfast was OK, but the restaurant is small and it was difficult to get an empty table at times.

Breakfast was excellent, with a choice of 3 dining areas, we did not need to share a table.

We found a lovely restaurant called Stoleti on Karoliny Svetle near the Charles bridge it was good value for good food.

Very helpful staff, free internet service was most appreciated.

Very clean, pleasant decor, lovely bathroom and excellent service by staff.

The staff were courteous and friendly enough.

When we arrived we had excellent treated by Roman the Receptionist who answered all our questions.

The hotel staff were friendly and very helpfull, booking trips for us and arranging taxis etc.

Located away from the busy tourist area, well managed hotel and also the staff is really nice.

A great value and clean Staff most helpful.

The room was ample size, a little dated but very clean and comfortable.

On the positive side, the hotel is clean and modern and the rooms have just been refurbished.
