Ideal location, room design.
Not offering a bottle of water in the room, but selling it for $3 is very petty for a hotel of this standing . Breakfast is really nothing special.

The rooms were brand-new and extremely pleasant with open bathroom. The breakfast was free and tasteful, the check in was early.

The Ames hotel in the heart of Boston offers incredible value for money. The prices are reasonable considering the prime location in the bustling financial district. The hotel itself is housed in the historic Ames building, adding a touch of charm to the experience. The staff are attentive and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The rooms are well-appointed with basic amenities, including a lovely soaking tub and an incredibly comfortable bed. The breakfast included in our rate was served at the nearby Paul bakery, providing a convenient and delicious start to the day.
All was perfectly fine, no improvements needed.

Very nice room with king size bed. Modern and clean. The staff does its job and answers our requests. Very good location in the center of town and two subway stations less than 5 minutes away. Good breakfast.
Breakfast could be more diversified even if what is proposed is already good.
