Ameritania Hotel New York - 纽约

The location was unbeatable if you want a short walk to Times Square and the many theaters located on and off Broadway.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location, but there are plenty of better hotels located just across the street.

The Ameritania is in a great location, right next to Broadway and very close to Time Square.

The only time we spent in the lobby was on the last day waiting for our taxi to bring us to the airport.

A good tip is to ask the doorman to organize you a sedan car to go back to the airport was only $49 which when it costs you about $$5 in a taxi from the airport once you've added on tips works out a bargain.

I wouldn't recommend the bathroom to those carrying a little extra weight, but the room was stylishly decorated in soft leathers and dark woods and the bed was comfy.

Upon entering our room we found it to be very clean and had all the facilities that we felt essential, a comfy bed, safe, air conditioning, plenty of storage space, good shower, tv, iron, ironing board, hairdryer.

Stained and dirty carpets, walls and bathroom, the room so small you can't leave your luggage and walk around the bed, and a continuous noise because the windows are so thin and old it's like you are sleeping in the street!

The room was not huge but perfectly adequate for the two of us, there was a king size bed, the bathroom was clean and there was also a large cupboard to store our luggage as well as an iron & ironing board.

We went to our rooms and were more than a little disappointed - our room was the size of a matchbox and our mums had to share a bed (although their room was bigger than ours).

There is no breakfast service even - let alone a restaurant - just weak American coffee stewing 24/7 in the bar for free of charge use - they should pay you to drink it!

Local eateries: The deli across the road is good for hot choc and bagels for breakfast, but the deli bar is expensive - thoroughly recommend Mangia & Bevi at 53rd & 9th for a pasta and soda lunch for $7.

We knew that there was no food/restaurant in this hotel but free tea/coffee in the bar area.

There are a few nice delis and restaurants nearby for breakfast or lunch - wouldnt bother for dinner though.

The hotel does not have a restaurant, so you will need to go out for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

V worked fine and the front desk and service staff were polite and helpful.

We recieved good service from the front desk and prompt response with housekeeping.

The service is deplorable and the staff unhelpful; including the Assistant Manager Ken.

Front Desk Service- Zeroe stars- Whe I arrived they said they could not find my reservation, yet I made it through their website just so I would not have problems.

If you really want luxury and style and a full set of services (the Ameritania has no food facilities or room service or gym/pool/spa) then you must pay for it.

When we first entered the lobby we thought ok this looks pretty decent but apparently all the dollars went to sprucing up the lobby, bar and elevators(2).

The lobby is nicely decorated and it gives you the impression that this is a nice hotel but then you reach the lift - its quite dark.

The beds are comfortable and clean, the television channels are not very clear and only a few work.

The room was on the small side, but clean and fresh smelling.

The hotel itself was clean and tidy the staff were very helpful, and the rooms were clean and a good size, we didn't have a view but that didn't matter because we were out allday and most of the night so we only used to sleep in it anyway.

Room (#810) was quite small but clean and fresh linen everyday.

The first room I was given was at the back of the building and although quite small and dark, it was very clean.
