This hotel is a good value and the only one in the town that has a pool.
I have utilized other AmericInn locations without any negative situations, but will not use this location again.
Restaurants near by are Sports Page Bar & Grill , Monterrey (Mexican food), McDonalds, Hardees, Burger King.
There are also a few Chinese restaurants close.
The staff and management of this hotel do not have any customer service skills or just refuse to utilize them.
We were informed by the front desk clerk that she did not have authority to resolve our situation and that the manager was not there and that the employees are not allowed to call him when he is off duty, but that is the only manager that they have.
The staff were very friendly and accomodating.
Probably costs pretty cheap and staff are friendly.
Be sure not to ask to speak with a manager on an evening or weekend.
