The best thing about this location is that it is right off the 5 freeway so it is easy to get to, it is right outside of downtown San Diego, and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

We booked through their website, pick this location due to our business purpose.

For the location and price and the especially nice staff, I would defnitely stay here again.

It was on a busy bus route, taxi's were relatively cheap and the 20 minute walk to downtown was not bad at all.

Perfect for a short stay, the price was great and taxi's were relatively cheap.

The rooms in this place are actually not too bad - quite big, comfortable bed, decent air-con and good shower.

On the flip side, the toilet had a mind of its own, the bathroom fan did not work, I can't tell you what an experience that was at times.

Our room is at 3rd floor, all seems fine, everything worked as advertised, just at bathtub there was some crackk that have been repaired but of course leaving some white stain unless replace it completely.

I saw cars pulling up outside my room all night, one guy would get out & run up into one of the rooms while his partner waited.

Our heater/air conditioner did not turn off so it was unplugged when we got in the room.

We didn't dare eat the "continental breakfast.

It was all good, close to transportation, stores close by and continental breakfast in the morning.

Besides, the best authentic Mexican restaurant around is 2 blocks away and if you walk a few more blocks you can hop on a streetcar and be at the Mexican border in 20 minutes.

They had a good Mexican restaurant called RIVA'S 4 blocks away.

When I arrived to the hotel it seem nice to me and when we chek inn the front desk was very nice and explain how to use the public transportation around.

I found the staff to be extremely helpful as they went out of their way to help me with my wireless internet connection in order to complete my homework on time while on vacation.

We were there for a concert at the Convention Center and the staff gave us a map of downtown and told us how to ride the trolley to the venue.

A conversation with the manager here, who is apparently fairly new, indicated that the previous management "may have been catering to a little different clientele.

The parking lot is way to busy for the amount of business the motel seems to be doing, and I expect there's still a fair amount of illicit business being done there, but it had no effect on our stay.

We stayed on the back side of the motel, which helped cut down on freeway and parking lot noise.

They lock the lobby at night and all transactions take place at a bulletproof window.

Our room had minimal amenities, but was clean.

The rooms are super clean and whats best is that the convention is only 1 mile and gaslam quarter-downtown 2 1/2 miles.

The hotel was clean and quite, the staff friendly and the rooms had plenty of amenities.

There were signs of rust and abit of mildew in the bathroom, but overall it was clean.

The room was very basic, clean, and shabby, but for the price it was what I expected.
