Favourable spot right by a very beautiful garden, Yosemite National park in California USA and the alley.

The location was convenient for exploring the historical area with fascinating museums around, and a vast range of restaurants nearby. The continental breakfast was decent with fresh coffee and pastries. However, the room could have used some maintenance. The bathroom had grime buildup in the corners, and the spout kept leaking. While the window opened to let fresh air in, it was impossible to close tightly, letting in noise from outside. All in all, the stay was bearable but could have been better with a little extra care to amenities.

Staying at this hotel was like going back to the time of gold seekers. Great building!

I was surprised this kind of hotel belongs to a chain like American Best Value Inn, since it's more a kind of budget boutique hotel with story. Personnel was untrained and unprofesional.

It was just what I was looking for. A lone traveler looking for a place to stop over for the night, I didn't need anything fancy. My room, pretty much big enough for just the bed, had a detached bathroom which didn't bother me (I thought it was charming, in fact) but just a warning to travelers who like comfort.

The air conditioner blasted all night and I woke up freezing. I had to put more clothes on.

Updated and well soundproofed room with a kitchen, I had a real good stay. The location was handy and comfortable - just a walk down to everywhere I wanted to go.

We had a pleasant stay at this historic getaway on our way to Yosemite. The place had a quaint atmosphere with charming antique decor. It was conveniently located near family and tourist venues. Despite some minor issues like the lack of fitted sheets and dust above the headboard, the price was affordable and the overall cleanliness was satisfactory.

I stayed at this hotel for weekend, it was a really good stay. Location: the property was near Yosemite park and all the antique stores and the mountains.

Super hot in the summer. My room was on the top floor, with no A/C or a window!!!

Clean cabins, great location, friendly staff, good TV and WIFI service, spacious adjoining cabins.

Nothing, no complaints at all.

Situated in classic Wild West city

A real cottage instead of room built in an old-fashioned style: old- fashioned kitchen & bedroom (gave us a scary feeling), damaged floor, very loud entrance door, small bathroom, cobwebs at the entrance and windows, several small spiders in the room. A strange locked door in the room which led to another cottage. Thin walls, you could understand every single word spoken in the other cottage.

It was a historic building.

It was very run down. The porch swing was broken and covered in cobwebs, the garden was all weeds. I stayed for 4 nights and the sink wasn't cleaned the whole time. The hotel has free internet but I had no signal in my room.
