The location is just north-central of Des Moines, just off the Fwy and easy to get to food, shopping, and downtown.
The location is right near the Mall, right off the highway, central to northern DSM, and has access to a great walking/biking path.
We always get a "king suite" which has a sliding door to close off the bed (good for nap time) and a pull-out couch (ok for the kids, but not very comfy).
The rooms are basic: Older decor, "window box" AC, nothing fancy, well used.
The indoor pool and hot-tub are large and well-kept, also good for the kids.
The breakfast is great (yea waffle-maker!
There is a great gas/convienence store just across the street, and a great restaurant just behind that.
They have a basic breakfast (cereal, toast, eggos, coffee, OJ).
The staff is friendly and helpful, never rude.
There is also Truck/RV parking (with hookups) in the back, and a coin laundry.
Rooms are clean and quiet, and the staff very friendly - they really like return customers!
But they are clean, quiet (in terms of outside noise), and the beds are comfy.
