Prices are shockingly high in this metro area and the hotel is a good value for the neighborhood.

The hotel is a good value for the neighborhood.

The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful, the room was entirely satisfactory for the price: clean.

While this hotel is not on the luxury list, I found it better than I had expected considering the price.

One positive note: great location if you want to be in downtown Bethesda.

Her husband went to the desk to try to change location because they have a 3 year old and a one year old.

Great location, good atmosphere and given the high prices charged in Washington.

Location is great and dC’s wonderful subway system is within walking distance.

Just enough room to walk around the bed, a small desk, and small bath.

Moreover the bed is soft, all the guests can enjoy free breakfast.

Yes the bed is a little too soft, and the pillows are a bit too thin, but the hotel does its part to keep our stay here predictable.

Good bed, good desk, good ac (temperature was 100 F all week, plus humidity), and quiet.

This was enjoyed on a spongy bed with two thin pillows.

There’s a bustling Mexican restaurant connected to the hotel, and a cute sun-room of that establishment functions as a breakfast room for the hotel’s complimentary continental breakfast.

Free breakfast buffet makes easy to get out early without missing breakfast.

They offer a waffle maker along with the usual stuff in a contenintal breakfast.

The breakfast is better than some places.

Wonderful restaurant area in the neighborhood, great value and they did.

Good location, surprisingly clean as I expected a flea-bitten hotel and the staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly.

The staff were very kind and professional, the woman answered the phone was also very pleasant and helpful.

NIH shuttle stops here, and several guests were regulars.

The driver of the shuttle did not speak english very well and was hard to understand.

I highly recommend this place if you are having a conference at NIH but because of the very limited parking, I would not suggest this place for tourist.

The wireless Internet was out (and has been out for a long time).

The folks at the desk were friendly and helpful, but couldn't do anything about their wireless network.

Clean and comfortable hotel, the front desk individuals had superb communication skills, almost all of the rooms were renovated in the last year.

Additionally the rooms are clean and the breakfast is good enough.

In addition explanations to various staff would have been $175, the rooms are clean and nIce to.

The bathroom, although clean, was in desparate need of scrape and paint and had an unusually powerful shower which i needed after the sleepness night.

    However, my daughter's room smelled of smoke even though it was listed as non-smoking. Her husband went to the desk to try to change location because they have a 3 year old and a one year old. His quote was, "Those rooms are non-smoking; if someone smokes in them that is against the law. To add insult, when we checked our credit card account the following evening, we were charged for an extra room.

    Across the street from the trolley, but only weekdays.

    Very limited breakfast choices, cold rooms, staff unaware of area amenities.

    For the price, definitely not worth it. Housekeeping used strong, unpleasant deodorizer to try to cover the stale and mildew smell of an old building. Room was cold and drafty.

    Location is great and dC’s wonderful subway system is within walking distance. So many places to walk to for fun, the staff is helpful and the rooms are very small. Free breakfast buffet makes easy to get out early without missing breakfast.

    I didn't like to be on ground floor in a busy street and the patio alongside the pool is closed at the same time.

    We liked the location, then you must park on the busy street and several good eateries within 4 blocks. Moreover very simple hotel, loved the rates and nothing enforced by the personnel. Room was small, the computer worked great and the continental breakfast was quite convenient. Guapos mexican was excellent, manager Dan was pleasant.
