Beautiful location set in the South Downs, luxurious trying to stay within the theme of the castle and the service is efficient.

Ideal location for a quiet celebration and romantic place.

Fabulous location attentive and through the charming village was more than i had hoped.

Good service needed and the most beautiful four poster bed.

All the staff were polite, the bed was extremely comfortable.

Fabulous location attentive and through the charming village was more than i had hoped. The hotel was superb and service was polite. Rooms were nicely done and breakfasts were fine.

The views as you drive up are fantastic, the setting is attractive and manor House make for a phenominal romantic get away. Also service are good, the rooms are beautifully appointed and the delicious meals that go on for 7 courses. Dinner was VERY quiet - the diningroom is v civilised and the gardens are amazing.

Modern - sumptious decor, the staff were charming and helpful, our room was pleasant - warm and comfortable. The food was good, wine in particular were excellent and the British waiter was very friendly.

Staff were wonderfully warm, our room 'Herstmonceux' had its own private doorway to a spiral staicase to the battlements and the food was great so that made up for.
