All in all everything was first-class, had a very nice stay for one night in the middle of the stay. It had magnificent and wonderful location, near to The National Memorial Arboretum-which is highly recommended, a supermarket, and the war memorial. Moreover, it was 3 km from Shot at Dawn Memorial.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this place and were thoroughly impressed. The location, right by a main dual carriageway, was incredibly convenient for our needs. The service provided by the staff was exceptional, as they accommodated every request we had. The room amenities were top-notch, with ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities, and free Wi-Fi. The breakfast selection was absolutely delightful, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious experience.

Brilliant bread and bacon at breakfast. Pretty building and rooms with convenient decoration. Marvellous and peaceful location for visiting restaurants and pubs. A homely hotel, my first choice in Alrewas.

Great Experience

In general: We stayed at Amber House Friday and Saturday night as we were visiting the area for my son's wedding. It is close to the historic village of Alrewas and ½ mile from the National Memorial Arboretum. We found the place easily first try, it's a very convenient location. The service at Amber House was outstanding, my husband thoroughly enjoyed the full English, and as a vegetarian I had exceptional choice and enjoyed delicious breakfasts both mornings we stayed. All breakfasts are accompanied by a choice of four different breads for your toast which Jill bakes herself and each of them is stunning. If you have a favourite bread you can order a loaf and Jill will bake it for you for next day for £1.15, what a service! In addition, I think I counted 12 amazing jams and preserves and the list of specialty teas and coffee was endless; I loved it! Our room was so comfy and clean and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend this B&B to anyone, it has all you could possibly want and a charming helpful hostess. We would love to return one day! Location and surroundings: Beautiful area with plenty of local interest. Service: Excellent service, couldn't fault it. Room: Very clean and comfortable.

We had a very nice stay for one night at Amber House. Everything was first-class and the location was magnificent and wonderful. We were close to a very good restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal. The town of Middleton in Teesdale is only 3.

Greatly enjoyed our time here. The whole place was fairly clean and the staff were exceptional. The double room was nicely furnished and neat. The hotel's location was magnificent, really close to Alrewas' three pubs, Indian restaurant and a takeaway and the National Memorial Arboretum from the B & B. Moreover, it was 2 km from Staffordshire Regiment.

Overall it was a such wonderful stay with superb service from Gill. Appreciated the king room in the bedroom downstairs, wouldn't mind staying there all day.
