Ambassador Hotel Amarillo - 阿馬里洛

The location of the Ambassador Hotel is convenient in the center of Amarillo & easy access to I-40.

The location is so-so, but having a TGI Friday next door helps with the food decisions.

I waited an hour for the hotel shuttle to transport me to the hotel from the airport.

There is a hotel shuttle to the airport, but it gets booked up early so reserve a spot asap.

On the positive side the bed was very comfy and the room was large.

Cons: My room seemed fine until that night when I heard a strange gurgling in the bathroom - it was the bathtub backing up.

Our room was marginal, the bathroom was a skank hole, the pool and hot tub are old and in need of repairs.

The bathroom included a toilet that would not stop running until you jiggled the handle, one wash cloth, three towels and no mat for the bathroom floor.

The hotel itself was really nice, the front desk was less than friendly and the bed was very comfortable and quiet.

Were greeted with a gift bag ( toys for the kids, sodas, chips, and meal vouchers) Had a great stay with free meals at the TGI Fridays for Dinner, then a Free Breakfast Voucher for the morning.

We ate breakfast the next morning & the eggs had "green color" in them.

We ate breakfast only one morning on the buffet.

We really enjoyed the happy hour refreshments and the early morning continental breakfasts.

Breakfast was a buffet with eggs and toast freshly cooked to order.

The hotel staff was very accommodating, one of your front desk clerks was just fabulous and microtel Inn Suites all offered more than continental breakfasts.

The staff were extremely efficient and friendly, the ladies working in the concierge room were very nice.

The staff was pleasant, service was excellent from check-in to check-out and the room was spacious.

The view lovely overlooking the city, fairly Nice Hotel and my home gym is better than this one.

Nice lobby and all hotel facilities were clean and comfortable.

The pool looked small, but all the kids seemed to enjoy it regardless.

The wireless internet signal was not that strong either.

The front desk folks were most helpful and our bathroom was clean.
