We thought it was a great location nice and quite with a few restaurants & bars nearby.
The location is lovely and quiet, also the stuff is very friendly and quick.
Pool area is beautiful, the hotel is in the perfect location.
For reference – a taxi from Heraklion airport to the complex is 35 Euros and there a plenty queuing outside the airport.
There are lots of buses and taxis, mopeds or quadbikes to hire.
The bathroom suite was nearly new with a shower over the bath.
The maid service was excellent and the room was just about the same as a studio flat.
We had a garden suite which had twin beds rather than a double and also the view was of a wall rather than a garden so would recommend opting for the sea view if your planning to spend much time on the balcony.
Room had air conditioning was ice cold - great in the heat and the breakfast buffet was rich.

Breakfast is a cold buffet style and you can order lunches at the hotel but as they do not have a kitchen, all food is brought in from a local restaurant.
General rule for eating out - look for restaurants with traditional wood ovens (can usually be seen from outside) and order dishes, which are cooked in it (especially lamb!
Apparently, the small Greek restaurant next door to Elisavet is meant to be great too - but always busy so we couldn't get a table - but meant to be worth going to as it's run by a Greek man and his wife who cook all the food themselves.
Good room facilities aswell although we didn't eat in the room at all - too many great restaurants nearby.
Also 'Avli' - a restaurant down in Hersonossis which serves lovely traditional Greek food.
The hotel manager as well as the barman are a real asset to this hotel and spacious and most importantly great staff cannot do enough for you.

The hotel facilities list on the website state that there is an "a la carte" restaurant and a jacuzzi as part of the pool.
Once again, the view is stunning from the pool terrace and helps you forget about the stresses of home and work!

Furthermore has friendly staff and clean apartments.
The kitchen area was good, the hotel was very clean - the apartments were luxurious for Greece and all the staff were really friendly.
The views were fantastic, the hotel of an exceptional standard with spacious rooms that were spotlessly clean.
