Amathus Beach Hotel Limassol - 利马索尔

The rooms were tired but very clean and the location was also very good.

Great location, i diffentely recommend this hotel has a beautiful beach front and staff in Kalypso restaurant is very efficient and accommodating.

It's a beautiful hotel with an air of class an elegance and with an incredible location right on the waters edge.

The Amathus is handy for Limassol (certainly worth a visit) with buses passing the door.

The hotel is at ‘the end’ of the ‘strip’ and separated from the next developed area to the east by a walk of about 2 miles (though the bus continues in this direction) so everything is focused towards Limassol.

The toilet in my bedroom smelt constantly of sewage from the drains and I had to keep all drain covers to the bath, sink and bidet closed when they were not being used.

Having booked a 1 bed suite for 592 Euro per night (ouch!

One room with furniture and the other with 2 single beds pushed together (this, along with shower curtains is one of my pet hates - and this room had both!

The room was good (space, beds and Hotel TV).

There was space for everyone, despite the sun bed huggers, who reserve with their towels in the early hours.

The reception area, bar etc were nicely laid out on the ground floor, and the restaurant where I had breakfast and lunch were on the lower level.

There are great restaurants in the hotel and the bar has a lovely atmosphere.

The hotel has 3 restaurants – Limanaki (a fish restaurant) is situated almost on the beach, which is a lovely setting.

Breakfast could get hectic, but was varied and plentiful, we ate in several times, the standard of food was excellent.

Limassol is less ‘touristy’ than Paphos but the coastal strip (9 kms) into Limassol is lined with supermarkets, bars, restaurants, car hire and souvenir shops.

This is a wonderful hotel whith excellent service and staff who go out of their way to help you.

You can sense the class in the hotel from the mood to the service to the staff.

We were both extremely satisfied with the service and the fact that all the staff were helpful but most of all, they were smiling!

Service was excellent and although the hotel was busy staff were friendly and helpful.

We had our own small pool with jacuzzi on decking just outside the room.

The spa was disappointing with noisy treatment rooms as it was part of the gym.

There is a seperate pool for adults only.

The beach is about 25 steps from the hotel room and it's clean.

The rooms are certainly not top standard, but they are clean and comfortable and feel cozy on a rainy day.
