The Amathus Beach Hotel Limassol’s guestrooms include its deluxe room, superior room, suite, family room and club room. each room features the following as standard: marble bathrooms, heating/air conditioning, direct dial phone, internet outlet, satellite TV, mini-bar, safe deposit box, hair dryer, slippers, tea/coffee making facilities. Non-smoking rooms as well as rooms/facilities for disabled people are available on request. Guests with children are welcome. The room can accommodate three adults or two adults and two children. All children under 12 years old stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under two years old stay free of charge. Older children/adults are provided with additional beds for 50 percent of the room stay per person per night. The maximum number of additional beds in the room is one. No animals allowed.

Buffet breakfast is served from 7am to 10am, lunch from 12.30am to 3pm and dinner from 7.30pm to 10.30pm. The Cyan restaurant offers international cuisine, while the Asiachi oriental restaurant is famous for its collection of wines and rich dishes. Amathus Beach Hotel Limassol is a perfect place for a seaside resort. However, if you want to know the local culture and history you can start from the ancient Amathus royal city. You can also visit the Wine Festival during the summer, the carnival at the beginning of the year and the Flower Festival during spring.

Getting there.

If you go from Larnaka Airport follow the only road that exists until you reach the roundabout. Then take the first exit and drive through the next roundabout and proceed until the first traffic lights. Turn right at the traffic lights and proceed straight until the next roundabout. Take the first exit for Limassol and proceed. This highway brings you onto the highway B5 to Lemesos (Limassol), which joins the Nicosia highway A1 at Kofinou village. Follow the A1 highway and exit at Parekklisia., turn right at the traffic lights and proceed approximately 3 kilometers. The Amathus Beach Hotel Limassol is located on the left-hand side.

If you drive from Pafos Airport you should follow the road leading from the airport until the T-junction. Then turn right and proceed to the highway toward the irection of Lemesos (Limassol) and Lefkosia (Nicosia), follow the signs. Follow the highway until you reach Lemesos (Limassol). Drive through six roundabouts following directions for Lefkosia (Nicosia). Exit at Parekklisia, take the first right and proceed to the stop sign. Turn right and continue for approximately 3 kilometres. The Amathus Beach Hotel Limassol is located on the left-hand side.

Getting around.

  The Amathus was superb then and in my opinion is on top of its game in 2010, staff in Kalypso restaurant is very efficient. The gym and indoor swimming pool are good.
