This gorgeous resort is located in a coconut plantation on Phuket's west coast. The villas are almost like staying in a private home, the restaurants are absolutely amazing, and the pool is enormous. The staff is very attentive and the atmosphere is peaceful here.

Overview

Located on the west coast of Phuket, the five-star Amanpuri hotel is a deluxe beach resort within close proximity to the Clock Tower and the famous Koh Sirey Temple.

Built in 1987 and surrounded by exotic palm trees, this elegant classic-style residence offers a swimming pool, a fitness club and a fabulous spa.

The hotel’s 40 luxurious pavilions and 30 villas with the stunning Andaman Sea views feature fine woodwork, large comfortable bedrooms, spacious seating areas, private bathrooms with complimentary toiletries, fully-equipped kitchens, terraces, flat-screen TVs, DVD players, safety deposit boxes and internet connection.

Two restaurants and a snack bar on site serve Italian, French and Thai cuisine.

Phuket International Airport is 27km away.

Two-bedroom villa features king-size beds, premium natural fabrics, individual temperature control, blackout drapes, a balcony, a kitchenette, a seating room and a separate pool.

Sanctuary villa has king-size beds, hypo-allergenic linen, remote curtain control, a terrace, a fully-equipped kitchen with cooking utensils and a private swimming pool.

All children under the age of 12 stay for free when using existing bedding. Babysitting service is possible on site.

Delicious bbq meal alone on the beach, such a nice location and an admirer of its superb quality.

The location was very nice and beach was clean and was great for swimming and running. The hotel was beautiful, the prices were pretty reasonable for this type of resort and without being intrusive, the service was warm, friendly and personalized. Our rooms were very spacious and comfortable, the food was very good.

Money does buy you privacy, extraordinary service and a magnificent location, the beach is perfect and the staff are attentive and thoughtful, the Amanpuri is pure understated elegance. The beds are heavenly, the bathroom is luxurious and larger than the bedroom, very generous storage space in wardrobe, food is excellent. Complimentary fruits are served there mid morning, to me, the choice is pretty simple and the pool is AMAZING.

The garden pavillions are set just off Amanpuri's internal road, its location is great and the beach gorgeous, the pavilions in you stay are exquisite, and large.

The service is not good for Thailand and nothing bad to say about.

From our arrival to our departure at the airport the experience was seamless and greeted by the car the hotel sent to pick us up was just wonderful. The staff to guest ratio was amazing, the rooms were great, clean lines and the restaurant was great and our food was excellent.
