Normally I would say this was a nice hotel until you consider the price.
All in all, it's a beautiful property, but the service is extremely lacking for a hotel in this price range.
Everything in the hotel fits it location.
The location of the hotel is stunning and views are the best the valley has on offer.
And ultimately, location, service and amenities of a hotel is what guest pay for in most hotels of this category.
As this is a seasonal location, I suspect that the staff maybe more transient than they would like.
Knowledgeable about the surroundings and or in one of there luxury Lexus SUVs every 45 minutes.
All rooms suites-fabulous deep tub with view of the mountians-use of natural materials, wood and slate relaxing and subdued.
King bed with fireplace, day bed, huge dressing area - more than enough room for two.
In your bathroom you have a large sunken bath with the little added extra's of candles, the large step in shower that could accommodate a large family all at once, all of this has a view like none other!

With a base room rate of $950 for a deluxe suite, it was worth it for one night- any more nights that that, and I would have felt taken!
We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there for several days and were quite happy.
In addition the food at the restaurant is really good, staffs are a great mix of americans.
Moreover the floors in our suite were heated and the meals we had in the restaurant were better than we had in Jackson.
All the staffs I met are very friendly, the rooms are wonderfully comfortable and the food at the restaurant is really good.
The restaurant food is to die for and there is a plethora of spa services to choose from.
The staff at the hotel was professional, the service was AMAZING and the food was very good.

Naturally - at least during the winter - a lot of the service staff are passionate skiers who finance their skiing season by working for the hotel.
It was only a short trip but would love to go back with my partner and enjoy the full experiance the full package of the outside heated pool and jacuzzi and all the spa facilities.
I was surprised that we had to walk through the main lobby in our robes to get to the spa.
My husband and I had to sit in our spa robes in the main hallway that leads to the pool.
The view is truly spectacular, amangani is clean and the rooms are very comfortable.
Amangani is clean, well appointed, and it’s odd but the room service is not all day.
