Amadil Beach

Its location is superb - on the beach, yet within walking distance of the town, nearby bars and other grand hotels.

The location is close to shops and a supermarket(which always seemed to be closed!

Amadil Beach Hotel has the best location on one of the best and safest beaches I have ever seen in the world.

The room was average, it could have done with a double bed, but it was always clean, and the maid did a wonderful job with the towel and bed sheet displays!

I asked to get a quieter room after two nights(Sun, Mon), I had two single beds in both rooms, which were comfortable.

Our room was a lovely size and on the whole kept clean but we had to call down to reception on 2 occasions at 5pm after getting off the beach cos it hadnt been cleaned and we had no towels or toilet roll.

Due to a mix up we spent the first night in a suite, with it's 2 seaview balconies, 2 bathrooms with his and hers sinks and a fridge - very nice - the only glitch in the holiday.

The bedrooms were clean and spacious with plenty of storage room and a fridge.

I ate at two of the restaurants and both had excellent food - the main restaurant was al-a-carte and had a good selection, which varied slightly every time I went.

There are three restaurants and a lounge bar and something else below ground but it was never open while I was there (late November).

The oranges and orange juice were the best ever - breakfast is great but in the evenings would recommend the moroccan restaurant over the buffet restaurant.

The rooms were large, english bar in thewhole resort was great and the big half-board restaurant was ok.

The salad bar was very impressive for the hotels star rating and every morning at breakfast, we were spoiled by the delicious fresh orange juice on tap.

All staff that I talk to spoke English, front desk, waiters, porters, shop assistants, maids.

Service is a little slow from some of the staff, but you can recognise who are the attentive waiters and this will get you a better service.

Reception staff were great and our room was clean and comfy.

The front desk staff are next to useless, and will quickly lose their ability to speak anything other than arabic if ther's a problem!

Really good hotel, really impressive lobby area and the housekeeping staff were very friendly and attentive.

The swimming pool area was nice but the pool was freezing, there were towels supplied but when I asked at reception I got given a vague answer of where to get them from - (the hotel spa area, which was wrong).

The spa area was for massages and steam and sauna treatment, and wasn't that expensive(prices varied depending on the type of massage - I paid £12 for half an hour but it was an average massage.

Very good situated near private beach, the tourist area is clean and well the first room didn't even have that.

The beach was great at that end of the town as was a little quieter too, the hotel rooms were very clean and some of the waiting staff were exceptional.

Agadir in general was good, staff were a bit dry and the bedrooms were clean and spacious.

We loved the hotel, our room was clean and comfy, the pool-side was lovely and the pool looked clean.

The rooms weren’t luxurious by any standard and clean andfairly good facilities.
