Hotel was out of the city which suited us just fine. The room was clean and quiet given this is a large complex. Aluxstay was more than adequate for our needs. We would use this facility again when we visit Melbourne.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was especially pleased with the Chill restaurant staff and chefs. The food was amazing and both the waitresses and chefs were extremely friendly. There was also a really positive attitude emanating from the Chill staff.

The room was a good size for two people, very clean comfortable and quiet. The view from the 6th floor was terrific with the lights of the city. Would recommend to others and will likely stay again.
They need to ensure people staying are aware that access into the underground car park closes at 11pm.

Spacious rooms and very clean. Facilities were very good and convenient
2 bdr Manhatton not what i picture. II thought it would have been 2 seperate bedrooms. It weas divided by having the bathroom in between and the bathroom was very small

Everything was great but the reception staff are hamstrung with dopey Rydges rules. Long lines because they have to explain 1.5% for visa and 3.5% for amex and they also take an extra $100 over the cost of your 7 days all up front. (Weird!) We learned to extend on bookings .com

I asked for the Sunday papers to be delivered to my room and they weren't. Room was not made up for the second night we spent there even after I requested it.

The view was magnificent as I was on the 16th floor..spacious apartment and convenient to most stores.

The bed and pillows are comfortable and the air conditioner offered many options for warming the bedroom which was very important considering the weather of the city. The security is also an serious issue for the hotel.
The cleaning was poor considering the money the hotel charges. Additionally, the hotel offers nothing more than the room. Considering the price and category of the hotel, I would definitely expect for a free internet access at least.

We had no idea that this was part of Rydges and the signs to Aluxstay were not clear. But we liked the layout of the room and the facilities and the way each wing of the hotel was built so that each room could have a view
The whole complex was so large as to be fairly impersonal. We had hoped to rely on public transport, but buses along Bell St were not frequent enough for our program at the weekend.

I stayed there last Saturday...!!!! It was nice n comfort except when I ordered food, it did not came on time in the room. It arrived after 20 mins & it was cold...!!! Apart from that I had a good time there...!!!

Room was clean and in as new condition. Great view of the city from a distance. Had oven and plenty of room to sit and eat...very comfortable.
No DVD player and no movie channels with the cable tv.

It was pretty good. My partner and I enjoyed our stay. We ordered some room service (butter chicken). Was a waste of money ($20) for the dry crap we got. But room was excellent. Night staff was appalling but day staff was amazing!

We've been locked out twice. Room not done one day. Short of daily supply e.g coffee/milk etc. We were almost trapped lift. Bathroom is under side.

Great view at night over the city and surrounding buildins and hills.
Shower facilities were very cramped.
