With its conservative look, it’s surprising that this new hotel Alto On Bourke promotes itself as “green”. They have water-saving showers, energy efficient lighting and double glazed windows that open. Rooms are well equipped and have a neutral décor. Apartments, but not studios, have full kitchens and multiple LCDs, and some even have spas.

This four-star boutique apartment hotel successfully combines together classic architecture of the late 19th century and a contemporary, stylish interior.

All 50 rooms are equipped in the latest in technology and class - beautiful granite surfaces, flat screen LCD televisions and broadband internet access.

Green Table restaurant serves buffet breakfast and dinner.

Free access is available to nearby gym (off site).
