The breakfast selection was decent with a variety of pastries and fruits. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs. The location was great, easy to reach with public transportation and close to restaurants and shops.

Our room was a disaster, the floor was dirty, and the bed was uncomfortable with old pillows. The walls were so thin we could hear our neighbors talking all night.

This hotel is not value for money. it is rated as 3 star hotel, but the facilities are poor and rooms look pretty old. i would not recommend to stay here... Booked.net showed some offers/ deals, but the tariff is same with direct check-ins.

Great location! The hotel is conveniently located close to all the major attractions and public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. Plus, there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, so you'll never go hungry.

The hotel could use some updating. The decor felt a bit outdated and the furnishings were not the most comfortable.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, close to various bars and clubs, perfect for a night out with friends. The room had a great view of the city, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, with modern fixtures. The hotel provided excellent service, with friendly and helpful staff willing to assist with any requests.

The hotel lobby had an unpleasant smell that lingered throughout the premises.

Close to Annecy by car. Free parking at the door. Rooms at the back are quiet but the front ones face a busy road.

Outdated place, not neatly cleaned, at a busy road, no air conditioning, no restaurant or bar. Only suitable for overnight salespersons. Simple breakfast with limited choices. Not terribly expensive but one can find much better hotels for the same price in Annecy. It is supposed to be a 3-star hotel but it looks more like a 2-star B&B.

Breakfast was good with no wait & of a good standard Bus service from back of hotel very good but only runs until 20.00 too far & dangerous to walk from Annecy so taxi the only means of transport back around 15 Euros.

it said in the brochure that the hotel opened in 1988 & i don't think any rooms have been decorated since as no aircon in rooms.The rooms where very dated very tired looking. but our bathroom was good & seems to be new TV's in all of the rooms. Situated on a very busy road with no public walk way,building work close by so very noisy with the traffic. I wouldn't say this is a three star hotel or if you have children a car is a must.

The staff were outstanding. The hotel is worth just that part of it. It was under new managent and so there were items to improve but they were going to do that.

No airconditioning but we hit it when it was cool in the evenings. It would be an issue in hot weather.

The lady in charge was very welcoming. She had excellent English but I told her I was learning French so she spoke French to me and was very helpful when I was stuck!!! We even had a little joke about something I said that was rude ( by mistake of course!!). Buffet breakfast was good and the decor of the reception / eating area was modern but relaxing. Staff were also very helpful with regards where to park when we drove into Annecy. Despite having a large coach party arrive the atmosphere was very jovial and plenty of attention was still given to other guests. .

This is a basic hotel in a suburb of Annecy. It is okay for a stopover but lacks any amenities that would tempt me to stay longer.

My husband and I have stayed at many hotels around the world but never been shown such care and kindness as we were shown by the young couple that own and run the Altess. They have only been there one year and still have work to do on upgrading some of the rooms, but the pure white bedding, the super large towels and the toilets were spotless! Plus good safe parking and location, along with a very good choice at breakfast. Unfortunately during our 11 day stay I needed medical help, this was all arranged for me by this lovely couple who thankfully spoke good English. Nothing was too much trouble for them and I could never thank them enough! Already planning our next stay, hopefully without the medical problems!!

For us there was nothing to dislike!

Great staff. The hotel is fine, with good rooms. There is also a good mall just across the street.

It is pretty far from Annecy, but if you are by car it will be no problem.
