Hotel Alma Di Alghero - 阿尔盖罗

A little pricey in a fantastic location on the beach and clean hotel.

The location is fantastic, right on the beach.

Its location by the beach and a 15-20 min walk (there are buses as well) into town is ideal.

Taxi from the airport to the hotel was only 20 euros, and the hotel phoned a mini bus for our return trip so that was 20 euros between 6 of us.

The hotel arranged a taxi back to the airport at a fixed price.

Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable bed(s), room tidied daily, en-suite shower, Sky TV, breakfast as much or as little as you choose to eat, all in a good location that helped us see more of Alghero than if we'd been bang in the middle of the city.

All rooms have direct dial telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, hair dryer, mini bar, safe, and complete bathroom.

The rooms have a modern bathroom, large bed, satilite tv, black out blinds and Aircon.

Its good sized rooms - we had a larger room with a third bed for our child - would easily have coped with a fourth.

The rooms were comfortable with massive double bed, modern flatscreen tv and Sky, double shower, well stocked mini bar - immaculatly clean all over.

Breakfast food was fine, bar in hotel was nice and always easy to buy a drink.

The hotel has a smal bar but no restaurant.

Staff very friendly and helpful and a large choice at breakfast (in fact one of the best continental breakfasts we've ever had at a 3 star hotel).

Breakfast was served in the "basement" which wasnt a dingy dungeon but a very pleasant room and contained sufficient variety of food to suit all palates and there was always lots of it.

There is also a restaurant further out of town which serves pizzas by the metre and which is cheap to eat at.

You'll need to check the timetable - I think reception have them - maybe the day before you go as it's not a hourly service, to say the least.

The welcome we received when we arrived, the help and info we got from the reception staff, and the quality of the rooms makes this a "upper level" 3 star hotel.

In its favour it has very eager to please service - Elizabetta on reception, with her good English and TV personality charm, is the main attraction.

In Alghero the best solution, a good price and the staff especially the reception staff were excellent.

Easy free parking on the sea front or just round the corner, very close to the old center and are great.

Location is great, nice good walk to the beach and parking just outside the hotel ideal for my elderly mother.

Whilst this is a small, family run hotel with no pool etc.

The room was spotless clean and very large.

The "Alma" is fresh, clean, spacious, decebt sized bathrooms (again perfectly clean), with an exceptional location.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the buffet breakfast full of variety.

The room was exceptionally clean bright and airy but if we have to choose niggles probably didnt have sufficient drawers or coat hangers for that length of stay.

Rooms large and clean, but not very soundproof.
