We stayed at this hotel 12 months ago and quite liked it.In the last 12 months I don't think any maintenance has been done and the staff were very 'over it'. The lift broke down, the safe didn't work and as for the air conditioining - it broke down on our 3rd night (35 degrees cel!) and they couldn't even offer us a fan. We were booked for a week, left after the 3rd night and only after an Italian friend came in and spoke to the staff did we get the last night free. Something has definately happened in the last 12 months!

The hotel was clean and comfortable, offering a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and efficient, providing excellent service. the presentation and quality of the food at dinner was top-notch.

The breakfast experience was a bit disappointing, as the secondary dining room lacked variety compared to the main dining room. This resulted in some members of our group being satisfied while others were left disappointed.

Friendly staff, have allowed us to stay after check out times and keep our car in the garage as well. Very good buffet breakfast.

Coffee for breakfast was not from Italian coffee machine, but from some strange Nescafe automate.

The Michelin star restaurant exceeded all expectations and is definitely worth a detour.
