Allamanda Beach Hotel

The beach is really spectacular and the location is great as your 15min by car to the main strip ST Lawrence Gap.

Good location just outside Bridgetown near Barbados Museum, fantastic place and staff on the most part were very friendly.

The location of The Savannah was great for us.

Having taken a taxi from the airport the first impressions are not brilliant.

One recommendation-take the bus into the city rather than paying a 500% taxi mark up.

25th wedding anniversary and had a lovely time , the hotel was very clean, our room was very nice with nice furniture and a very large comfortable bed.

Received a corner road frontage room but it was enormous, with queen sized bed with excellent mattress and linens, high ceilings, superior airconditioning and high windows with little traffic noise.

We had a deluxe room overlooking the pool (although we had requested a room overlooking the beach) and we were more or less satisfied with the set-up of the room (very comfortable king-sized bed and balcony access to the pool.

These rooms were very nice, but the bathrooms did not seem clean, there was mold around the tub and walls.

Huge bathroom with tub and hair dryer as well.

The food in the restaurant at the evenings was excellent on both nights we ate there, and lunch at the beach bar was also pretty good.

The rooms are gorgeous, lovely garden by outside bar to lunch in unless 's Sunday and the complementary breakfast is fine you like a light breakfast.

Service from the beach bar was attentive and friendly, the location of The Savannah was great for us, food in the restaurant was good quality.

Other restaurants are within walking distance if you do not care for the hotel restaurant or food.

Food at the beach bar (which surprisingly closed at 6:00pm) was great, and the main restaurant's menu was fine.

Food at beach bar was adequate, the staff was wonderful in every part of the hotel and the maid service was very good.

The hotel staff were brilliant, we used Paradise Car Service – they were great and my in-laws' rooms were nice.

In sum-- the property is beautiful and helpful especially Kiera on the front desk at reception.

Water are the best, the food at the pool bar is absolutely fine and the gym is actually pretty nice.

It was old, run-down, and dirty and was never serviced by housekeeping.

Its really too shallow to bathe, although theres a complimentary shuttle to Rockley (about a mile) for beach and shops.

Internet acess was free and the mini kitchen was very useful.

Clean tidy the beach is good, the staff in the hotel are relaxed and the rooms on the top are very bright in the morning.

Great place to drink, professional staff and the Deluxe room that we stayed in was quite large and clean.
