I'm spanish and I have to tell prices of the hotels in Spain have increased a lot, and it's not very easy to find in Barcelona or Madrid a four stars hotel for this price (when we were, 50 euros double without breakfast).
This was by far the best hotel and best value we had on our 3 week trip through Europe!
Beautiful hotel - excellent shape and nearly all others on the same price scale have very tight spaces.
I would definitely return to use the hotel, if they don't jack up their prices, unless I want to explore a different part of Barcelona.
Easy to park the car on the nearby streets and excellent location.
Good location very close to Metro, we feel very comfortable in this hotel and the staff are very friendly.
Quiet location for value a good night rest, easy to park your car in the streets in front.
The metro closes at 12AM, so if you like staying out late you'll have to take the bus or a taxi.
It is located right next to a Metro station which takes one directly to the midtown area in minutes.
The bed and bathroom were both good (very important) and there was an electric safe in the room.
The rooms were fairly large and spacious as were the bathrooms and the hotel was very accomodating in adding a third bed for our teenage daughter.
The room was reasonably sized with a TV, mini-bar, electronic safe and a nice en-suite bathroom.
Actually the room is not too large for 3 persons, it is a double room with an extra bed but enough.
And surprisingly, your front desk asked us to stay in another room (room 129) so as to set up the bed.
The food is very good at breakfast as well as in the restaurant.
We did not eat at the restaurants, but we did purchase croissants and coffee at the bar in the morning and I wouldn't say it was overly expensive.
Didn't have breakfast with the hotel, or try their restaurant, so I cannot comment.
The hotel has few facilities - only a restaurant and bar, nothing special but adequate and comfortable.
Cheap breakfast and definitely spacious by european standards.
Other services will be added to the service selection, there is a very nice receptionist called Myriam is very helpful and they had black drapes to keep the room cool.

Your first front desk staff only offered one room (number 419) and told us the hotel is full when we checked in at 10:30pm on May 2nd;.
Your front desk supervisor made an excuse (electricity problem in one of our rooms which the first front desk staff never mentioned) and asked another couple of our group to take the taxi and stay in another place.
Nice and friendly staff, employees spoke perfect English, they had free internet access for 15 minutes in the lounge.
We had a dinner once, restaurant staffs (waiters) are well-mannered and gave good service and foods.
Additionally staff courteous and helpful, excellent room: confortable, by the time we were coming from breakfast everything was clean.
The room was very clean, new and nice; the staff, very helpful and friendly.
