Pleasent hotel, fairly good location but very expensive for what is really just a basic motel type accommodation.

Good location as close enough to walk into the couple of main streets which are the small town of Alice.

The hotel has a great location for visiting Alice Springs to which we walked.

If you need a cab for the airport or to tour around Alice, ask the reception desk to book Dennis!

If you arrive on the airport shuttle as many people do make sure you are off first to avoid a long wait!

The room was a good size with a double and single bed and a good sized bathroom.

The room was nice with a comfortable bed and the breakfast which was included was satisfying.

Room was large with two double beds, we had a disabled bathroom which was also large.

The bed was big and comfortable and there was both a bath and a shower and thankfully air-con that worked (temperatures were over 40 degrees celsius).

The room was large enough with a comfortable bed and equipped with everything we needed, included a superb air-conditioning system, really helpful as it was +39°C and wet.

I totally agree with all the reviewers, fantastic pool with swim up bar,truly outstanding staff, excellent food in the restaurant.

Probably the better of all the other rooms there, restaurant for breakfast was not too bad.

Did opt for breakfast but this was not included and was very expensive for what you got - few staff around (left New Year's Eve) in restaurant and they were disinterested to say the least.

We ate dinner at the motel restaurant (Barra on Todd), the four of us were very impressed with the food, especially after reading poor reviews on this web site.

The restaurant service was pretty awful - in the evening- they lost our order and an hour later admitted it but only after one of the staff told us off for enquiring what was happening.

However, had a very mixed response in our party from reception staff from incredibly helpful phoning round to locate an open chemist we could obtain medication from through to be completely ignored and the person behind being dealt with first!

The duty manager was on reception and seemed to be holding the fort, doing nearly everything.

The hotel is oke and the staff were helpfull.

The hotel obviously spent its money renovating the lobby, swimming pool, restaurant and the better-quality rooms overlooking the river (River Gum rooms), so maybe if you stayed in one of these rooms, it would be a satisfactory experience.

The pool was lovely, especially in the summer months you need it.

We did not swim in the pool but it looks fine - could do with a clean but not too bad.

Our room was spacious and complete, but not very clean indeed.

The rooms were clean, the food was presented well.

After experiencing some great hotels and the bedroom was well past its sell by date- clean and comfortable.
