This lavish hotel located near the Villa Borghese gardens is far from the hustle and bustle of downtown Rome. The pool is incredible, something which has been called rare for the city, and the rooms are large. Some critics felt that its remoteness was a negative aspect, but there's a free hourly shuttle to downtown. There have been recent renovations and a wonderful Neapolitan-Mediterranean restaurant.

Overview

The Aldrovandi Palace is a 5 star hotel situated in the heart of Rome. It was opened in 1899 and since that time the hotel remains one of the most exquisite hotels of the world.

The rooms are spacious and chic; each of the rooms is air-conditioned and has a mini-bar.

Three restaurants of the hotel and a bar will satisfy even the most demanding gourmands. The chef of the restaurant Alfonso Iaccarino is recognized as one of the best Italian masters of culinary art.

The hotel has a big conference room in case if you have some business meetings in Rome.

If you want to relax, visit an outdoor swimming pool of the hotel. There is also a fitness centre.

The hotel offers 108 stylishly designed guestrooms that were recently renovated. The designers managed to keep the grandeur of 19-th century palace in the interior and at the same time made the rooms more comfortable. The rooms offer excellent views of verdure surroundings. Getting there

The Aldrovandi Palace has a very convenient location as it is surrounded by many tourist attractions: the Spanish Steps and Via Veneto, the Modern Art Gallery and the Villa Borghese Park and Museum.
