Albert At Bay Suite Hotel Ottawa - 渥太華

Great location close to the Parliament and the Byward market which has many great restaurants.

It was also a good location, though not as close to the byway market as I would have liked.

Free underground parking and access to a number of bus routes at the hotel's doorstep make it an easily accessible hotel, and the walking distance to the downtown sights (Parliament, Canal locks, etc.

This is the only Hotel we had to pay for parking, but it was underground and very secure, so we didn't mind.

However, the room had a master bedroom with an ensuite bath and TV, an office, a living room (with said sofa-bed.

When we arrived in the evening after a long trip we found that we had been allocated a room with a sofa bed in the living room for our son whereas we had requested two double beds in the bedroom.

The room layout in the 2 bed apartment was very well laid out with the bedrooms being either side of the main living and kitchen area.

Two bathrooms, full kitchen, living room with sofa bed, office area, storage room, patio and bedroom.

My one-bedroom suite consisted of a bedroom, a living room, a separate (semi-open) working area with a desk, two bathrooms, one of them with a shower, the other with a bathtub, a fully-equipped kitchen and a balkony.

We only ate breakfast once in the restaurant adjoining the Albert and were disappointed with the breakfast so I would not recommend eating there.

The adjoining restaurant is warm and welcoming, even if its food is not memorable (at least at breakfast), and the hallway down to an adjoining convenience store is also a nice feature.

Attached to hotel is restaurant/bar "Bistro on Bay".

The hotel restaurant serves up reasonably priced good food so it's convenient if you don't prefer to drive around.

There are a variety of restaurants in the area so food wasn't a hassle either.

The hotel staff was very friendly, service was very good too and the suite was large.

Pretty good rates and the front desk staff were wonderful.

Check in and check out were quick and painless, parking is underground, the housekeeping staff are fantastic (they even pack away your clean dishes from the dishwasher!

The gym is nice and clean but no pool (which is nice if you're staying someplace and don't want to be surrounded by kids).

The Albert at Bay is excellent, the view from this gym is much better than watching TV and free parking for hotel guests should be the norm.

While wireless high speed internet was free (the entire hotel is equipped for wireless) -- the signal in my room was not very strong -- I ended up not using my laptop and running down to the lobby to use the internet.

They have free wireless internet, which I love.

The room was beatiful with lots of marble and very clean.

The quality of the finishings is good, reception has a big glass bowl and the suites are amazing - spotlessly clean.

Two bathrooms, extra clean and modern with granite countertops.

The rooms were a bit loud with street traffic noise, but in fairness, the area had just had an ice storm and there was alot of work to be done overnight to keep the streets clear.

Free wireless, toilet extremely pleasant and helpful, the gym is nice and clean.
