I have stayed in many hotels throughout Europe and this comes near the top on value for money.

The proximity to the station was excellent for us as we were interailing, the location was very good and the hotel was clean and comfortable.
We left our cases in left luggage at the airport and went back into Geneva the E3 ticket from Geneva AIrport covers the train and your bus into town either for an hour of the day.
Took train from Geneva Airport F24 -40 mins to Lausanne.
The room was big enough for the two of us and had sep toilet with basin and a shower room with basin so again very useful.
Beds comfy duvet wonderful and the room warm.

Just next door to the hotel is a little darkish restaurant where the local dishes (fondue and raclette -- definitely not for the cholesterolly paranoid) are not bad, though again, a little dear.
The wood-pannelled breakfast room looked OK (if you like that sort of thing) but neither the service nor the food were anything to write home about.
Mordern comfort-- the elegant furniture, good breakfast.
Reception small but staff brill helped out with bus info maps hairdryer etc.
