The views of the Rialto Bridge from the terrace are stunning, providing a picturesque backdrop. The large and amazing bathroom in the room adds a touch of luxury, and the made-to-order omelettes for breakfast are a definite highlight.

The noise from the surrounding area, especially at night, can be quite bothersome.

Hidden Gem with Unforgettable Views

Arriving in the afternoon, I was personally welcomed by Matteo, the owner, who showed me around this charming property. The boutique hotel, tucked away in a winding alleyway near the Realto Bridge, offers stunning views of the Grand Canal from the terrace. I spent hours watching Venice float by from there. The rooms are clean and decorated in old-Venetian style, while the bathrooms are well-equipped. The highlight, however, is the helpful and friendly staff who gladly shared tips on exploring Venice. The breakfast on the terrace, with eggs and pancakes prepared by Matteo himself, was a real treat. Although the air conditioning is not available in winter, I didn't mind as the hotel provided electric heaters. Despite a few minor drawbacks, my stay at this lovely hotel was truly memorable. I highly recommend Al Ponte Antico for its perfect location and impeccable service.
