Addis Ababa Hilton - 亚的斯亚贝巴

Good points - great location, the hotel is very nice I loved the breakfast and the staff is arguably the best I have encountered anywhere in the world.

The central location, most pleasant place to stay in Addis Ababa and the cleaning staff were warm.

The nice common areas make up for the mediocre rooms, the best thing about this hotel is the location and the staff are friendly.

There's a cheap taxi stand just beyond the hotel gate where you can negotiate to hire taxis (Ladas) hourly.

You'll only encounter them if you exit the hotel compound on foot rather than by taxi.

My stay was for 2 1/2 weeks and the bed was hard as asphault and was getting unbearable.

The Hilton could do for a complete bathroom remodel - at least in my room & the others on my floor (4th).

However, for the nightly cost of the rooms, most Americans will be disappointed with their room.

Rooms were comfortable with beds big enough to party in!

Soap, water, TP, and clean toilets can be a rarity in Addis.

Avoid the restaurant altogether in the morning and head to the pastry shop around the corner for breakfast.

My recommendation: If you have time to explore the great restaurant options, stay at the Hilton but avoid the restaurants.

The food in the restaurant is not great and i would advise people to pay the extra and eat in the Sheraton.

The hotel is very nice I loved the breakfast and nearby dining, walking distance to the UN.

In addition the food in the restaurant was great.

The friendly staff and efficient service from concierge/desk/room service/laundry.

Regardless, I have never received more punctual, polite, efficient service from concierge/desk/room service/laundry.

Staff are attentive, and service adequate, if not spectacular.

I thought the front desk staff were incredibly slow and fairly unfriendly both at check-in and check-out.

A fitness center is located near the pool.

Nice pool area and my overall stay was absolutely wonderful.

Also showers dont work well and thermally heated pool is fantastic.

Fourth floor room was perfectly acceptable; a bit worn, but comfortable and clean.

The staff were invariably courteous, my room was spacious and clean, the breakfast buffet was nice.

The staff was great, the room was clean and spacious, pizza restaurant was good.

A host of helpful services and the bathroom was clean.

Then its a very good option for stay, professional service and the room was large and clean.
