Excellent location and place near Plaza d Éspangna.

Nice location, car park: Secure and is consistently good.

Excellent location with a tube stop practically at the door.

Quite a trek out of the city centre but has a metro station next door with direct metro into town (although taxis are a very quick and cheap way to get around town - 3 or 4 euros into the centre and 8 euros to the airport).

By car the Acores was a nightmare to locate but that didn’t matter too much because once there (we had to follow a taxi) we didn’t use the car but rather the near by Metro.

However the style of the rooms and the modern bathroom are designed to a very high standard.

We liked the room decoration, hospitable staff and the nice parquet floors even in the bathroom.

Staff were very professional and the bed was so comfortable.

The rooms were very modern and sleak, with a very nice large bathroom.

I was pleased with this accommodation and would definitely recommend it for a few days (due to room size) and more if you are alone or a business person as they were certainly equipped for this type of clientele.

Breakfast is good but the restaurant should be a last resort for any other meal: expensive and bland.

If you get off the metro at Restauradores you’ll find an array of lovely restaurants, all of which are very cheap and the food is amazing with a massive choice of fish and meats.

It is at the Colegio Militar Luz metro stop and has a lot on offer including shops galore, a large cinema (English films remain in English with Portuguese subtitles) and lots of restaurants.

One small point, I wish they would invest in a few more music DVD's in the bar.

I've seen the ones on offer SEVERAL times or maybe its because I visited the bar too often!

The service was really good, receptionist was very helpful we called to advise of a late check in and the breakfast was very nice.

An extended stay in a different country made easier by the wonderful staff in this hotel.
