We were four blokes and for us it met our needs in that it was cheap, and was in a great location.

It is a 20 Euro cab ride from the airport, but you can take the tram to old town and walk a few minutes to the hotel, and it will cost you much less.

I changed rooms in the middle of the night after waking up to find beetles in the bed with me, but the new room also had beetles and probably other things.

The hotel room was in a state of disrepair and felt like a poor uni student's bed room: portable TV and radio plonked on the floor beside the bed hard chip-board bed.

I was in a suite with two friends and the fold down bed was unbelievably comfortable and the linen appeared brand new.

The room had a diverse collection of insects, including beetles and also bed bugs as I was bitten about a hundred times and had bites worse than mosquito or flea bites after one night here.

The rooms had broken lighting, with some taking 10mins to start working, there was stains in the baths and toilets.

The lobby, bar and restaurant had a fascinating decor.

It has a great location, the bar is very cheap and the breakfast is excellent.

The foyer and bar/restaurant are quite nice with marble furnishings.

The location was convenient, hotel service was very helpful and helpfulness of the staff on the reception desk was exceptional.

The location was very good, hotel stuff were more than I expected for amount that me and staff on the front desk were very helpful.

On a positive note, this hotel is only a 5 minute walk from Old Town, it features a very good free breakfast, and the front desk staff is very helpful and were always friendly.

Main problem is the decor and room fittings - all dating back to the drab Communist era, with no mod-cons such as duvets, hair dryers, automatic door keys etc (even the old elevators are small and shaky and the lobby is positively dark).

I am not the best with lifts and these lifts were particularly frightening, we were on the 14th floor and it took about ten minutes for it to get there!

Very good value for money, great price and loved the lobby.

There was also free wireless - just ask the man in the cafe on the entry floor for a wireless username and password.

The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast were very good.

Seriously tho, the staff where always helpful and friendly, the beds were comfortable, sheets were clean.

The rooms are clean and they are comfortable to sleep in that’s it.

The room I stayed in was clean and provided all the amenities you would expect in a European hotel.

Overall the hotel was good, a clean room for cheap.
