AC Hotel Palau De Bellavista Girona - 赫罗纳

I continue returning to AC Palau de Ballavista because of the ideal location, there is nothing exceptionally good about this hotel and the rooms are very clean.

Not really far from the old town and good location.

It seems strange to see a river running through the centre of such a city with the old buildings sited against it’s banks but with so little advantage being taken of such a superb location.

There is a taxi rank at the Placa de Independencia but often there are no taxis.

Please note however that taxis seem very hard to find and public transport almost non existant.

Very comfortable bed and armchair, CD player, spotless modern bathroom with loads of dinky toiletries.

The rooms were of the current vogue minimalist type with a glass screen between the bedroom and bathroom which we didn't like (why would anyone?

The mini-bar was free, the bed large and comfortable and the air conditioning quiet and efficient.

The glass wall between the bathroom and the bedroom was a fabulous feature.

The reception staff were polite and bed was extremely large and comfortable.

Although we didn’t eat in the restaurant, which is on the lower floor, down the spiral staircase, we believe that it is franchised to one of the best family restaurants in Girona, run by chef Roco.

The restaurant was expensive but the food was good so worth it for a one off.

However, the best part was the meal in the Numun restaurant.

It was one of the best fine dining experiences we have had, and for a fraction of the cost of equivalent restaurants in Manchester or London.

The restaurant looked expensive so we ate in town so I can't comment about that.

The view was spectacular, so helpful they really made the stay was and reception service was great.

Very friendly reception staff, excellent room and the free mini bar was nice too.

The reception staff were polite and the staff serving at breakfast were very friendly and made a really positive impression on our 6 years old daughter.

From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we received absolutely fantastic service.

Fabulous terrace area, the excellent design and nice lobby.

Beautiful large terrace from the lobby and excellent staff.

How it got this rating I do not know but the terrace is huge and it may have originally been reserved for a fancy pool area which would be ideal given the location.

All the staff went out of their way to be helpful, keeping our room clean and tidy and the whole building up to an immaculate standard.

The decor in room was good - everything was very clean and comfortable.

The staff could not have been more helpful, the room is clean and comfortable, the terrace is a lovely spot at sunset.
