AC Hotel Palacio De Santa Paula Granada - 格拉纳达

Good location, convenient to historical center of town and many good tapas bars, restaurants, and shopping nearby.

The Palacio Santa Ana was perfect in every way - the location is easy to get to from the highway.

The location is ideal as you can walk up to the Alhambra and the Albacin from there.

There is a very modern bus that serves the area from the city to the airport for a very reasonable 3 Euros otherwise a taxi cost us 25Euros.

For those who can't walk taxis are plentiful, reasonable and easy.

Room was not huge, but very well appointed with a comfortable bed and very modern, nice bathroom with oversized tub.

We had our 9 month old with us and the room was big enough for our queen size bed and a crib.

It had a four-poster bed, a full closet and a beautifully tiled bathroom.

The food is excellent - although we ate out both nights the breakfast was fantastic - lots of fresh ripe fruit, excellent quality pastry which is very difficult to find in Spain (why don't they do bread right?

If we didn't have our hearts set on 2 local restaurants we would have gladly tried the hotel for lunch or dinner.

Built around an old convent, the heart of the hotel is a stunning cloister onto which the lounge and restaurant face along 2 sides.

We only breakfasted in the restaurant - part of the package - its buffet was extensive and hot food was cooked to order.

Do not dine at the restaurant, the location in the patio is excellent but the food is bad and overpriced.

The restuarant staff were quick with service and always helpful.

They are in sore need of a formal concierge as the front desk did not give good/many recommendations.

The turkish bath was out of order so I can see that may have bothered some - but there is so much to get into in Granada that I didnt have time to bother with steaming, sauna's and working out in the gym or whatnot.

During the weekend I spent a total of approximately 5 hours at the gym / spa.

Another gripe - If you want to use the sauna or gym, there are no lockers for your valuables (eg room key) while you are undressed.

INTERNET: The hotel offers wireless internet for charge however I was able to connect through a wireless connection that was close by and did not have a charge.

Hotel recommended some excellent restaurants, friendly staff and clean spacious rooms.

The room was clean, but small and lacking in the charm department.
