The location next to the bus station was, for us, very convienient as we both arrived by bus and departed, too.
I didn't care for the location (right next to the bus station) and when I parked my car, a police car pulled up and told me to keep an eye on my luggage.
Great location, excellent choice Using Bus station and the hotel staff was extremely helpful.
There's a permanent taxi stand outside the bus station next to the hotel, and it's very easy (even if your Spanish is awful, like mine) to ask taxi drivers to take you to the bus station on the way home.
Two city buses originate at bus station and reach the Cathedral in 10-20 minutes depending on traffic.
There's a small lobby/dressing area with storage space, a seating/TV room and a separate bedroom with an enormous bed and another TV.
Spacious and the bathroom has a modern design, knowledgeable staff, the extra touches to the room: free mini bar.
We stayed in room 306, which is a suite, as that was the only room left in the hotel.
The bathroom was great - all done in frosted-glass and marble tiling, with double glass sinks, a large walk-in shower and an extra-wide bathtub, also with a shower.
The main door to the bathroom (and to the toilet) is frosted glass, so if you're very shy you might to establish some ground-rules with your travelling partner!
Hotel has restaurant for breakfast and dinner.
We ate the hotel restaurant once and the food was nice.
There's a private roof terrace with a breakfast table and two sunloungers.
There are some lovely restaurants particularly in the Albacin with lovely views of the al-Hambra.
We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but that was no problem since the bus station next door has a large cafeteria boasting "exquisito chocolate con churros"!
Nice place to stay, there was free tea evenings in the lobby restaurant and the reception staff were very friendly.
The reception staff were very friendly and (luckily for our rusty Spanish) spoke excellent English.
The hotel staff and service is awful and we have never experienced such a terrible stay at any hotels before.
We asked a reception staff if it could be exchanged, but instead of being apologized we were told to be tolerate with an air freshener since non-smoking rooms were unavailable already.
The reception staff seemed to be very angry and kept telling us she could not deal with us since she was busy.
We believe the hotel staff should have at least a standard of service and politeness to be expected from four stars hotel.
Not an attractive area and the hotel has limited parking.
