Abba Xalet Suites Hotel

The location is far enough away from the main roads to avoid any traffic noise, but close enough that we could drive to La Massana or Andorra La Vella in 5 minutes or so.

The location of the hotel is good if you have a car because its about 10 minutes to town and 15 minutes to slopes by car.

This is a really nice hotel, fantastic rooms and in a great location (if you dont mind the tunnel blasting).

We had a room not a suite but the rooms are large enough for 2 persons, the bathroom is huge.

The room was spacious and relaxing, with one living room and one bedroom, one shower room and en-suite bathroom.

Our stay at this hotel was great, the presentation is perfect, it was a romantic setting with large comfortable rooms with a mini bar, huge bed!

Our room was very large by European standards, with a King-sized bed and a small refrigerator.

The second was this terrible smell in the bathroom, we asked for the floor to be cleaned twice which they did asap and the smell would go for a while, we think it may have been a toilet leak or lack of ventitation.

There are a few restaurants about, its basic food but keeps you going.

It was let down by the quality of the food in the restaurant which promised much but was a let down and very let down by the staff who seemed as though all of them were having a bad day that day.

The hotel provides a large buffet breakfast free to guests -- a great selection of sausages, cheeses, pastry, bread, cereal, yogurt,.

Dinner is also available from the hotel restaurant (for around 20 Euros per person), and it was pretty good.

The breakfast included in our stay was also of high quality, as was the dinner we had on one evening of our stay.

I decided to check with the hotel on the site to see if there was a solution (although the reception staff at the suites did not suggest this option).

I was pleased that the hotel reception staff was very helpful.

Apart from the gent on night reception at the hotel, who was brilliant and very helpful, the staff were not good.

The waiting staff were a little aggressive and the day receptionist was ill-informed and gave us some incorrect information.

I approached the waiter about the dirt on the cups and he shrugged and looked at me like I was expecting silver service!

Indoor parking at charge, outside parking in front of the hotel is free of charge.

The swimming pool is a bit too small for adults to swim.

Clean not only in the room but throughout the hotel.

The two things we did realise very soon is that you can hear people next door very clear because the walls are thin, we thought it was funny hearing some conversations but its not so nice hearing people go to the toilet.
