Excellent location close to the beach and the reception girls are hot.
Finally location, right at the far end of the beach from the old town, a 15-20 walk for me, but this would be quite a bit more for others.
I've stayed here twice for business, both for extended periods of time, and found it a fitting location from which to explore Gijon and the surrounding area.
A great location for phone calls back home!
The hotel is sold on the sea view, but I had a back room view and there appear to be quite a few back view rooms, but less than 50%.
Rooms are Euro-small but modern and well-designed.
The rooms are on the small side, especially for a 4 star hotel.
As mentioned elsewhere the shower curtain attacks :-) but the cupboard doors also seem to attack due to the room's small entrance hall.
A bit Expensive really given the room size.
Breakfast was rich and tasty and managed to keep me on my feet until lunch, which in Spain is quite late in the afternoon.
Meals in the restaurant were perfect, staff were excellent, but prices were a bit steep.
The meal in the restaurant was excellent, despite our trepidation about being almost the only people there.
However, snacks could be ordered in the bar.
We found good bars and good eating in the Old Town but we felt it to be the least successful stop on our tour as we ran out of things to do.
Reception staff were particulalry helpful and friendly.
Reception staff as good as you're likely to find.
As is common with this part of Spain, English is not too common, but the front desk staff did everything they could to honor my various requests.
Reception is large, shiny, trendy and efficient.
The hotel has all the needs for business travels, although I would prefer that the Wifi service was a little cheaper or even free as in other hotels.
Swimming pool is small but pleasant with a decking area.
The pool was closed as it was off season.
Very modern hotel, kept perfectly clean inside and outside of the rooms.
